We started Yello House because we had heard enough of those stories, and decided to write a different one.

WHY YELLO HOUSE EXISTS

We didn’t start Yello House on a whim,
We started it from the inside

We spent years working as a property manager, doing the real day-to-day work that owners rarely see. And with that came the stories.

Properties inherited with tenants who had not been properly screened. Maintenance issues reported and left to drift. Owners who had no idea what was happening with their investment until it was too late. And in one case that is hard to forget: a property that had not been inspected in nearly a year, with damage and neglect that should never have been allowed to reach that point.

The industry does not have a shortage of good property managers. It has a shortage of good systems, and the space to actually use them.

Yello House is our answer to that. Built on what we know actually works, and what owners actually deserve.

WHY THE NAME

The name found us as much as we chose it

Yello sounds like hello, a small deliberate signal.
We are approachable. We communicate. We are not here to make property management feel harder than it is.

But there is a layer that means more to us personally.
One of our family names means yellow in Mandarin. When we put the two together, the name just fit. Warmth, identity, and a business we wanted to build properly.

Simple name. Everything behind it is intentional.
